So-called “conversion therapy” can have a long-term impact on LGBT+ people. If this has happened to you in the past and you are still struggling with it, you can reach out to Galop’s support services. The helpline can provide a safe, confidential listening and information service to any LGBT+ person aged 13+.

The Archbishops’ Council has established an Interim Support Scheme to improve the Church’s response to current and non-current survivors of Church-related abuse.

Redress Scheme
The national Church has approved a comprehensive redress scheme for survivors of Church of England-related abuse. However, the scheme is not open to receive applications at this time.
