We are pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Kim Ford as Transition Oversight Minister for the development of the Area 5 Blue Minster Community (Hinckley/Bosworth and surrounding areas).
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs Evernice Tirivanhu, aged 62, on Thursday 16 April 2026. Evernice was a Licensed Lay Minister in the Diocese of Leicester.
We are pleased to announce that Fr Herbert Fadriquela, currently Anglican Chaplain to the Filipino Community, has been appointed also as Vicar in the Benefice of St Aidan New Parks.
We are pleased to announce that The Revd Ali Simpson-Smith, currently Assistant Curate in the Benefices within the City Deanery in the Archdeaconry of Leicester, has been appointed as Team Vicar in the Benefice of Oadby and Great Glen.
We are pleased to announce that the Revd Rosalind Harper, Team Vicar in the Benefice of The Fosse Team, has been appointed also as Assistant Area Dean of Goscote Deanery for a period of three years, until 1 April 2029.

The Revd Sharon Plant, Curate in the Benefice of St Anne and St Paul with St Augustine, has been appointed as Rector in the Benefice of Holkham in the Diocese of Norwich. Sharon’s final Sunday in the Benefice will be on Sunday 10 May 2026, with a Benefice farewell service at St. Anne's, at 9.30am.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Nigel Byard, currently Rector in the Benefice of Lutterworth with Cotesbach and Bitteswell, also as Transition Oversight Minister, for the development of the 4Y Minster Community process and the subsequent Minster Community which is formed.
