As part of an ongoing provision of support, the Archdeacons of Leicester and Loughborough warmly invite PCCs and Trustees to come together for a training morning.
The mornings are designed to help whole PCCs and clergy in understanding, managing, and fulfilling their responsibilities as trustees. Sessions will explore a wide range of topic areas from safeguarding and finance, to policies and practices and employment, and the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the Archdeacons.
Upcoming sessions:
Saturday 18 April: City of Leicester deanery – Christ the King, Beaumont Leys
Saturday 25 April: Sparkenhoe East, Sparkenhoe West and Guthlaxton deaneries – St John’s, Hinckley
Saturday 9 May: Gartree and Launde deaneries – St Wilfrid’s, Kibworth
Saturday 30 May: Framland and Goscote deaneries – St Mary’s, Melton Mowbray
Each session runs from 9.30am – 12.30pm. Light refreshments will be available.
If you are unable to attend your deanery’s assigned date, you are very welcome to attend an alternative date.
Please consider public transport or car-sharing to travel to these events, as we continue our ministry as an Eco Diocese.
